1 day tour: Birthplace of Khmer empire & home of fishing

Tour start: 8.00am
We will pick you from your hotel at 8:00am and proceed to buy the mountain pass before going up to the most sacred mountain in Cambodia, Phnom Kulen Mountain (Birthplace of the Khmer Empire). Our tour guide/driver will take you to see the waterfall, Wat Preah Ang Thom ( Reclining Buddha stone statue) and River of a Thousand Lingas (Lingas of Shiva). We will stop for lunch nearby.
After lunch, we will take you to Cambodia’s traditional houses and flooded forest (Mangrove trees) at Kampong Phluk. The houses were built on stilts about 6 to 7 meters high. The best time to see this village is from July until February.
