4 days tour: Explore land of history Angkor - Siem Reap tour

   Day 1; Exploring Siem Reap city 

   Duration 6-7 hours

   Start tour: 9.00am

We will take you to see the artifact treasures of Angkor at the Angkor National Museum and continue to Artisans Angkor Center where we could see and learn how the ancient Khmer people make beautiful wood and stone carving on the walls of Angkor temples. 

We will stop for lunch whenever you prefer. After lunch, we will continue our trip to Cambodia Silk Farm located West of Siem Reap city, where you can shop for the finest Cambodia handicrafts which are made of real high quality. Before heading back to the city center, we will stop at the largest artificial lake in the Angkor region known as West Baray.We will continue our journey to International museum to enjoy sightseeing the Khmer history from prehistory till now.

We highly recommend that you watch the Cambodian circus after temple tour. Please feel free to ask us to reserve a ticket for you if you are interested.

   Day 2: Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat

   Duration: 7-8hours

   Tour start: 8.00am

First, we will take you to buy the Angkor pass, then we proceed to the Angkor temple in Small Circle such as South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace, former Royal Palace, Phimeanakas Akas, Terrace of leper king.Before visiting the biggest monument religious in the world, Angkor Wat,  we will take our lunch, the best time for photography at the Angkor Wat temple is in the afternoon.

   Day 3 : Kulen National Park + Bantay Srei temple 

   Duration: 7-8hours

   Tour start: 8.30am

We will take you to buy the Kulen pass, then will go straight to Kulen mountain.  It is about 65km away from Siem Reap and takes about 1-1.30 minutes to get there. We will spend a couple of hours at this mountain. We will bring you to see the waterfall, huge Buddha statue at Wat Preah Ang Thom and the holy river called’ river of thousand Linga (Shiva Linga).After lunch we will continue our journey to see greatest pink sandstone with finest, cleared and detail carving depicting different Indian mythology. 

Our last destination will be Tonle Sap Lake & Floating village (home of fishing). The best time to visit Tonle Sap Lake and Floating village is during the monsoon season from June to February.

   Day 4: Angkor Wat sunrise + Ta Phrom + Grand circle 

   Duration: 7-8 hours

   Tour start: 4.40am

Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and leave hotel to watch the beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat. After finished visit sunrise, in order to avoid the crowd, we recommend that we go to the Ta Prom temple first after breakfast. We drive you to the Ta Prom is the most impressive of all the temples in the Grand Tour. Normally the crowd will arrive between 9:30 am until closing time.

Our journey will be going on to small temples such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Tasom, East Mebon and stop for lunch in front of the lake known as Sras Srang (Royal swimming pool). Before heading back to your hotel, we will drive you to visit Pre Rup temple as our last stop.

Remark

  • Please dress culturally appropriate for visiting all temples. If you wear shorts and T-shirts, make sure they are long enough to be knee length and shoulder covered. No scarf or shawl and tank top are allowed. Always have your shoulders and knees covered while you are visiting a temple.
  • When visiting waterfalls, make sure that you wear culturally appropriate swim wear and plan ahead with an extra set of dry clothes.
  • Don’t forget to pack a charger for your camera and other electronic devices. During lunch breaks, there will be locations to recharge devices.
  • In Cambodia, the US Dollar is widely accepted and preferred ($1.00 -$100).
  • Please no torn, old and dirty bills and coins will not be accepted.
